As I wrapped my freezing hands around a cup of hot tea on a cold winter’s morning, grateful for the few minutes of warmth I was about to consume, my imagination kicked in. There I was, in the middle of a savannah…and there he was, the king himself, rising to his thick feet and regal under his majestic mane.
Lions fascinate me. In the presence of a Lion, you’re in the presence of strength. The calm confidence of this creature captivates me and it’s this confidence that spurred the inspiration for The Kiniun Life project.
Kiniun = Lion in the West African dialect of Yoruba. OH, but there’s so much more my little cup of tea has started. I hear The Call…
Flawed man and wild beasts willingly acquiesced to our offerings. Our swords and words carved and inspired.
We stirred and steered nations. We took life and gave life. We roared and rode on our gallant horses of divine rectitude, bearing on our hearts the mark of a King who gave himself for love and holds our very existence in the palms of his scarred hands. But now, we beat and rage against a veiled resistance threatening to crush us.
Now, there is only fearful silence.
Follower of Christ, remember who you are! Remember the call. Remember the price. Tear through your stubborn skin. Shed the sediment of crooked words and masters.
Draw from and unleash the power deep within you. And while you do, the earth aches with expectancy and hope.
The earth is waiting.
